About the Journal
The Production journal accepts submissions in English in a good writing style. Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts to a professional proofreading before publication.
All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter, in which authors must highlight the submission’s adherence to the journal’s editorial scope, theoretical and practical relevance, aims, methods, main results, and its original theoretical, empirical, and/or methodological contribution. As Production publishes original contributions, manuscripts cannot be accepted for publication, have been published by other journals, or be under evaluation for publication elsewhere. If earlier versions have been published in annals of scientific conferences, authors must disclose that information to the editors in the cover letter, clarifying the main improvements that justify publication, properly citing these previous publications, and ensuring submitted manuscripts present significant improvement.
All articles go through a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Accepted works are published in continuous flow. The Production journal is open-access and is licensed under a Creative Commons License (CC-BY). SciELO digitally preserves it.
Production is an open-access journal and complies with the Creative Commons BY-CC license. It does not charge submission or publication fees from its contributors.
All articles approved after their final publication in the Production journal receive the Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
